Katie Love began her drag career on an amateur night at Club Forbidden in 2007. She was asked back the following weekend and performed every weekend after. She is nicknamed “The First Lady of Cookeville” for her involvement in performing, show directing, and managing the bars as well as her community involvement here in Cookeville. Having held many titles in the Upper Cumberland, Katie knows how to entertain a crowd and impress the judges.

Her titles have included Miss Opossum Queen 2012, Miss Cookeville 2013, Miss Upper Cumberland 2013, Miss East Tn America 2013, Miss UC Pride Queen 2015, Miss Roadhouse 2017, and Miss UC Pride Queen 2019.

Her best advice to anyone wanting to enter a pageant or begin a drag career is to learn from those around you. Allow them to help and give you guidance. But most importantly, play to your strengths and make your character as unique as you are.
